I have been so blessed to have met so many new babies last month! Newborn babies are best when photographed between 6-12 days old and nine day old Miss Eva was as sweet as can be. She followed my newborn session instructions so well and slept the entire session. Love when babies do that! Thank you S Family for allowing me to come to your house and photograph your new addition! I hope you enjoyed the photos as much as I loved capturing them for you! I could seriously do newborn photography every day! I just love it that much!!
And I love how grandma wanted some photos of her new granddaughter! So sweet!!
If you have been following my blog for the last few months, you know that I’m a part of a monthly blog circle project with a group of crazy talented photographers where we try to document things in a different way than we normally would. At the end of my blog post, you can view the next photographer’s post and so on and so on until you’ve come full circle!
We probably head out to the beach 2-3 times a month, especially during the spring and summer and my boys just have a blast playing in the sand. And this time around, we all had fun building a sand castle so that my 5 year old could … what else?…Destroy it… Of course right?

Mr. Avi’s newborn session was gifted by his mom’s best friend for her first Mother’s Day. And what a better way to enjoy your first Mother’s Day than to cuddle your very own newborn! At 10 days old, this little peanut was a perfect little model. He slept pretty much for the entire session only opening his eyes for me to get a few sweet awake shots. I have so many favorites from his newborn session! Thank you so much M family for allowing me to come and capture him at such an early age!
This was such a wonderful gift for mom so if a special someone in your life is expecting, a Nghi Le Photography gift certificate makes a great baby shower gift!
Introducing a very sweet 10 day old baby girl. It took a little bit of time for her to go to sleep in the beginning but once she drifted off to dreamland, there was no waking her up! I was able to get so many adorable photos and capture all her sweet newborn features. A million thank you’s to the S. Family for allowing me to capture this amazing time in their lives!!!
Welcome to the world Mr. Gavin! Gavin’s mommy and I went to high school together and have been able to keep in touch thanks to the wonderful world of social media! As soon as she found out she was expecting, she contacted me right away to have me take his newborn photos. Things worked out well and I was able to come to her house when Gavin was 7 days old. Gavin did so well in the modeling and sleeping department, I don’t think he woke up once the three hours I was there! And he only went to the bathroom once while I was posing him and it was in his daddy’s old baseball glove! Sorry Dad! Gavin’s session turned out amazing and I couldn’t be happier with all his beautiful pictures! Enjoy admiring all his cuteness! And thank you so much D. Family for choosing me to capture his newborn stage!
Loved this series in black and white too!
Baby Ava is one of my baby planners; I can’t believe I get to see her two more times this year! There’s no questioning what her signature feature is! Look at that hair! She’s going to have beautiful locks of hair as she gets older! Mom opted for a lifestyle session for our first of three sessions. The light in their bedroom was perfect for this type of session and we got so many gorgeous family photos of the three of them!
The T. Family wanted some updated family photos so we decided to meet up at the beach near their home and capture them in their own element. The weather wasn’t ideal since it was gloomy and gray all day and about to rain any minute but went for it anyway and it turned out so soft and pretty! I photographed their family about a year ago and so glad to see how much the kids have grown! Don’t you just want to pinch those chubby cheeks from these two?
We had a lot of smiles but I wanted to share an adorable outtake! Love real moments!
Life by Lens is a monthly blog circle project I am participating in with a wonderfully talented group of photographers where our goal each month is to document normal everyday things we otherwise wouldn’t. At the end of my blog post, you can view the next photographer’s post and so on and so on until you’ve come full circle! This month’s theme will be color; I did a little interesting take on it!
Our home has been taken over. By none other than Angry Birds. Angry Birds Space, Angry Birds Star Wars, Angry Birds Seasons, Angry Birds Rio, and even the spin off Bad Piggies. Who knew it would be such a hit for my 5 year old? When we moved a few months ago, I was purging a lot of toys and the old containers of Play Doh did not make the cut. So a few days ago, my Angry Birds fanatic was looking for Play Doh because out of the blue, he wanted to make Angry Birds out of them. It was a few days before we made it to the store to buy some and he immediately spent the afternoon carefully constructing each different bird, down to all the little details. So I introduce you to my little Play Doh artist! I promise he did all on his own and I didn’t help him one bit!
The many COLORS of Angry Birds! We have Red Bird, Yellow Bird, Black/Bomb Bird, White Bird, Boomerang Bird, Ice Bird, Luke Skywalker Bird, Chewbacca Bird, and even a few piggies!
Now go check out Lucy Liz Images to see her interpretation of this theme!!
I was so excited to have Ryder back in my studio for a 9 month session! He has grown up so much since I saw him at 3 months! I loved his gummy smiles and chubby legs! You know I wanted to just take a bite out of it! He brought along is super adorable sisters too for some photos. Love all three of them!!
Emma came to me a few weeks after her first birthday for a cake smash session and she acted like she had never seen me before! Umm hello, don’t you remember those adorable photos I took of you a few months ago? Shesh! It was ok though because we took a few extra minutes to re-acquaint ourselves, we sang songs (her favorite being Mr. Two Bits song, a true Florida Gator!), played with my props, let her eat some snacks. Took a few minutes before she would even sit down and smile for the camera but once she did, all her cute expressions came out and we had a wonderful session.
We had so much fun outside too and she even had a big surprise for everyone! I can’t wait to meet baby brother or sister the end of this year!
One year old sessions are becoming one of my favorites sessions! Thank you the B. Family for choosing me to capture Emma’s first year!
