Welcome to the world Mr. Gavin! Gavin’s mommy and I went to high school together and have been able to keep in touch thanks to the wonderful world of social media! As soon as she found out she was expecting, she contacted me right away to have me take his newborn photos. Things worked out well and I was able to come to her house when Gavin was 7 days old. Gavin did so well in the modeling and sleeping department, I don’t think he woke up once the three hours I was there! And he only went to the bathroom once while I was posing him and it was in his daddy’s old baseball glove! Sorry Dad! Gavin’s session turned out amazing and I couldn’t be happier with all his beautiful pictures! Enjoy admiring all his cuteness! And thank you so much D. Family for choosing me to capture his newborn stage!
Loved this series in black and white too!
Baby Ava is one of my baby planners; I can’t believe I get to see her two more times this year! There’s no questioning what her signature feature is! Look at that hair! She’s going to have beautiful locks of hair as she gets older! Mom opted for a lifestyle session for our first of three sessions. The light in their bedroom was perfect for this type of session and we got so many gorgeous family photos of the three of them!
The T. Family wanted some updated family photos so we decided to meet up at the beach near their home and capture them in their own element. The weather wasn’t ideal since it was gloomy and gray all day and about to rain any minute but went for it anyway and it turned out so soft and pretty! I photographed their family about a year ago and so glad to see how much the kids have grown! Don’t you just want to pinch those chubby cheeks from these two?
We had a lot of smiles but I wanted to share an adorable outtake! Love real moments!
I was so excited to have Ryder back in my studio for a 9 month session! He has grown up so much since I saw him at 3 months! I loved his gummy smiles and chubby legs! You know I wanted to just take a bite out of it! He brought along is super adorable sisters too for some photos. Love all three of them!!
Emma came to me a few weeks after her first birthday for a cake smash session and she acted like she had never seen me before! Umm hello, don’t you remember those adorable photos I took of you a few months ago? Shesh! It was ok though because we took a few extra minutes to re-acquaint ourselves, we sang songs (her favorite being Mr. Two Bits song, a true Florida Gator!), played with my props, let her eat some snacks. Took a few minutes before she would even sit down and smile for the camera but once she did, all her cute expressions came out and we had a wonderful session.
We had so much fun outside too and she even had a big surprise for everyone! I can’t wait to meet baby brother or sister the end of this year!
One year old sessions are becoming one of my favorites sessions! Thank you the B. Family for choosing me to capture Emma’s first year!
Because of timing and spring being such a busy time of year, Elle’s 6 month session turned into a 9 month session and boy was she a little baby on the go! Two positive things always result after a session like this, I get a great work out and we all get these adorable photos of a sweet baby! I’m looking forward to my next work out with her and see her smash some cake too!
Sit back, relax and enjoy some cuteness overload!
How is it that Ethan is one year old already? I remember driving to his house when he was just 7 days old and capturing his newborn photos like it was yesterday. He was probably one of my best sleepers as a newborn and let me do whatever I wanted to him without making as much as a peep. See how sweet and still he was?
One of my favorite ages to shoot (besides newborns of course!) is when they can sit up. Ethan came to me a little after that and he was on the verge of crawling. All I remember is putting him down and he would scoot to another place and rinse and repeat. It was a nice preview to what would happen at his 1 year old shoot!
But don’t you just love this sweet happy face!
I had a feeling he was going to be an early walker and kept asking mom if he was walking yet before our scheduled session. I was so relieved to hear that he hasn’t hit that milestone. What I didn’t realize was how much he’s perfected his crawling skills; he was lightning fast! I had a few tricks up my sleeve to keep him in one spot but I won’t lie, even though I was able to get a bunch of cute photos, he clearly won our little battle.
Ethan, I just loved watching you grow up through my lens and hope to see you again soon!!
