One of the many thing that makes photographing babies so much fun and exciting is getting to see them again and see how much they’ve grown. That’s why I need to demand that all my clients need to book the baby planner package! I’ve photographed Miss Abby since she was 9 days old and so excited to see her again at 17 months old. She is already developing a fun personality and I had a great time photographing her and her parents. Babies this age are not the easiest but I love the challenge of getting them to smile and look at the camera. She completely wore me out in the end but I think it was completely worth it! Now her parents have these beautiful memories captured and cherished.
If I was able to go back to a time period and do it over again, it would have to be the baby’s first year. It goes by way to fast. You blink and they go from a fresh newborn to a toddler. I am so honored to be chosen to document baby’s milestones throughout the first year. I can’t believe it was a year ago since I came over to Mr. Connor’s house to photograph his newborn photos. His 6 month session had to be one of my favorite sessions, nothing but smiles the entire time. His cake smash was no different! He is seriously just the happiest baby!

When mom contacted me for photos of her sweet daughter who was turning one, she was already prepared with some really adorable outfits for her. Miss Ellie rocked out each one and did so amazing in front of the camera. She is one adorable little one year old! I loved photographing her cake smash and taking them outside for some family photos. So many favorites from her session!
Ellie’s mom also made this beautiful hot pink cake!
What is it about newborn photography that I love so much? Are you ready for some newborn photos from one of my favorite newborn sessions to date? Mr. Leo was a beautiful little chunker with a head full of black hair. If his parents and big brother weren’t so smitten with their new little baby boy, I would have asked to take him home with me! My boys would love him! Well, of course I couldn’t so I just had to enjoy every little second of photographing him. He was a dream and slept through the entire session without making as much as a peep.
It’s no big secret I am in love with newborns. I was fortunate enough to photograph sweet 7 day old Addison. I’m sure we all are made aware of the sleep deprivation that comes along with a brand new baby. Poor little Addison couldn’t get any sleep the night before and her poor exhausted parents obviously didn’t either. We thought she would be so tired and sleep the entire session but nope, Miss Addison was quite happy being awake and observing her new environment outside the womb. She eventually drifted off to dreamland and stayed asleep the rest of the session. Here are some of my favorites from her newborn session!

I know I say this all the time but I truly feel like the luckiest newborn photographer to have been photographing the most beautiful newborns. What’s even better is that I get to watch this particular newborn grow up through my lens. I am so excited to introduce Baby Charlie to the Nghi Le Photography family. I can’t wait to watch him grow throughout his first year. Mr. Charlie was such an alert little guy, wanted to fight sleep, and wanted to observe everything. Took advantage of his curiosity and caught one of him and his big brother with such amazing eye contact, pure luck, I’m sure of it! He did finally doze off and did beautifully the rest of the session! Looking forward to seeing these brothers again in a few months!
Miss Ava Hope belongs to one of my best friends in the whole world. I was so sad when they moved a couple of hours away from me a few years ago but so happy that they welcomed a beautiful baby girl into their lives a year ago. She is made purely of sugar and spice. And I think we may have some love brewing between my three year old and Miss Ava! He gave her a big wet kiss after we said goodbye after dinner and said he loved her when I was editing one of her photos. She is one tough cookie to get smiles out of though, but we managed to get some cute photos for her parents!
Yes, another baby boy for me. Mr. Caleb came into the world with the most adorable big sister and the sweetest parents. I did his big sister’s newborn session about a year and a half ago when I was just starting out. I am so thankful for parents who continue to allow me to capture their growing family. This little guy is nothing but perfection. I know he’s going to be a little heartbreaker one day! Just look at him!

Do you know what I love more than cuddling with newborns? Newborns that come back to see me for their 6 month shoot. Mr. C was smiling the moment he walked into the door and kept flashing those gummy smiles all throughout the session. He is seriously the most perfect baby. He also rocked out the cutest jeans and suspenders I picked up from H&M for the session.
I just love this age and all the adorable faces they give me!
His rolls were delicious!
Miss Abby’s newborn session was one of my favorite newborn sessions from 2012. She is also the first newborn I was able to capture a smile from! She came back for a 9 month session and of course brought her adorable smile along with some cute expressions. Oh and those yummy baby rolls? Yes, just so you know, I did want to take a big bite out of them.
