I’ve photographed these sisters three times now and they seriously get more and more adorable each and every time. Miss Chelsea is now 18 months, a really hard age to photograph but she was just a joy to photograph, especially when she was next to her big sister. We did this session at the gorgeous campus of University of Tampa. Here are some of my absolute favorites of them!
Fall family sessions were in full swing last October and we just had awesome weather and amazing families to photograph! And yes, I realize it’s the end of February and I’m just now getting to blogging these! Better late than never! Redington Beach Pier is one of my go to location for beach sessions. Check out some of my favorites!
Summer is flying by and this month snuck up on me! This is a fun project that I am participating in with a wonderful group of photographers where our goal each month is to document our everyday lives.
We’ve been having so much fun this summer doing our usual things. Legoland is still a favorite place for the boys to go. We had so much fun on the 4th of July hanging out there and watching the amazing fireworks show.
Another summer and another trip for my oldest son to go visit his cousin in California. See here he is!
He flew over there with my parents and I will go over and get him in a week or so! I can’t wait to see him! So the little one and I have just been hanging out.
We even re-created a photo shoot we did with my oldest when he was three. My little Super Boy!

Yay! Back to a newborn streak! I love love love newborn photography. They are probably the most difficult to photograph of all the age groups but there is something about them but they just make me over the moon happy! I had the opportunity to photograph 9 day old Baby Audrey and boy was she amazing!! She did nothing but sleep the entire session and let me play and play with her. Her big brother was a little hesitant about being photographed but after a lot of patience (LOTS!), he finally agreed to lie down next to her and then we got this shot. Sweetest sibling photo ever!
One of the many thing that makes photographing babies so much fun and exciting is getting to see them again and see how much they’ve grown. That’s why I need to demand that all my clients need to book the baby planner package! I’ve photographed Miss Abby since she was 9 days old and so excited to see her again at 17 months old. She is already developing a fun personality and I had a great time photographing her and her parents. Babies this age are not the easiest but I love the challenge of getting them to smile and look at the camera. She completely wore me out in the end but I think it was completely worth it! Now her parents have these beautiful memories captured and cherished.
Life by lens is a project that I am participating in with a wonderful group of photographers where our goal each month is to document our everyday lives through our lens.
This month started with blueberry picking! We found a farm 15 minutes from our house called BlueYouth Farms. We had so much fun picking them, we went twice! Two weekends in a row! I’m pretty sure we got enough blueberries to feed an army!
Then we just put our feet up and try to relax because the rest of the month was quite busy!
Someone finally got a visit from the Tooth Fairy this month! I was told afterwards that the Tooth Fairy was very generous this time and that next time around she may not be!
We traveled down to Miami to be a part of my cousin’s wedding and had a fabulous time at the resort! We definitely will be visiting this resort again! Such a beautiful city!
Got some shots of them in their dressed up outfits! Not cooperating, but what’s new?
I didn’t get to take many photos from the wedding because I was in the bridal party but I did sneak in a few here and there. I’ll definitely be blogging the photos when I’m done editing all of them! One of my favorites from the evening!
>>> Next up is Reena from Tuscon, Arizona; she is amazing! Got check out her post! <<<
I know I say this all the time but I truly feel like the luckiest newborn photographer to have been photographing the most beautiful newborns. What’s even better is that I get to watch this particular newborn grow up through my lens. I am so excited to introduce Baby Charlie to the Nghi Le Photography family. I can’t wait to watch him grow throughout his first year. Mr. Charlie was such an alert little guy, wanted to fight sleep, and wanted to observe everything. Took advantage of his curiosity and caught one of him and his big brother with such amazing eye contact, pure luck, I’m sure of it! He did finally doze off and did beautifully the rest of the session! Looking forward to seeing these brothers again in a few months!
What can I say about this wonderful family? Well, they have stuck with me since the beginning and continue to think of me when they need photos of their adorable kids. I’ve been photographing Miss Ava since she was 7 months old and watched their family grow right before my eyes. Here are some of my favorites from their holiday family session!
I know mom doesn’t like this photo of her two year old closing her eyes on purpose but I think it’s perfect. I love that she’s full of personality and sass already! But we were finally able to get some smiling photos for mom in the end.
Kerrie is a local photographer in the Tampa area. We met some time last year after talking online and we’ve become great friends. We are so similar and have the same serious love for newborns. Photographers are the worst at planning their own family sessions, I was able to squeeze her in last minute and she was able to pull together such a perfect palette of coordinating outfits!

This project has definitely kept me on my toes about taking photos of the boys. There’s nothing that makes me more happy than to see a whole album full of photos at the end of the year that I put together. We don’t even have to go anywhere to make the photos special, sometimes even just photos of them in the house doing everyday things are the best ones.
They love pretending to be daddy, putting on his glasses and his work badge. They are so silly sometimes, actually, all the time.
I love every little detail about them. Even when the 6 year old insists on putting a little water balloon in his toes when I wanted to get a photo of his big boy feet.
I wish we take them to the park more to play because they clearly just love it.
Even playing in the driveway is a lot of fun, especially when the weather is this beautiful in Florida this time of year!
