Miss Ava Hope belongs to one of my best friends in the whole world. I was so sad when they moved a couple of hours away from me a few years ago but so happy that they welcomed a beautiful baby girl into their lives a year ago. She is made purely of sugar and spice. And I think we may have some love brewing between my three year old and Miss Ava! He gave her a big wet kiss after we said goodbye after dinner and said he loved her when I was editing one of her photos. She is one tough cookie to get smiles out of though, but we managed to get some cute photos for her parents!
I’ve been on an awesome newborn streak the last few months and I could not be any happier. Newborns are my calling. They make my heart sing. They turn me into a big puddle of mush. And I just want to keep all these babies I get to cuddle with all to myself. Seven day old Lily could not be any more perfect. I photographed her big sister’s first year and I just know they are going to be the best of friends.
Yes, another baby boy for me. Mr. Caleb came into the world with the most adorable big sister and the sweetest parents. I did his big sister’s newborn session about a year and a half ago when I was just starting out. I am so thankful for parents who continue to allow me to capture their growing family. This little guy is nothing but perfection. I know he’s going to be a little heartbreaker one day! Just look at him!

Oh Mr. Bennett. He stole my heart during his newborn session. So squishy and sweet and boy did he just loved to nurse! Once he finally had a full belly, he slept so well for me! So many cute set ups and sweet photos for his parents to cherish.

This month’s post is pretty special to me. Today marks fifteen years of my husband and I. It’s amazing to think I’ve known him almost half my life and I couldn’t imagine where I would be without him. This is one of our first photo together; you can almost see the sparkle in my eye and feel the butterflies in my stomach. I’m pretty sure he still makes me feel that way and I’m positive that our love is stronger now than it has ever been.
And now fifteen years later, we’ve built a strong marriage to raise our two little stinkers. Two little stinkers who are getting harder and harder to photograph but we love them nonetheless.
Next up is Sherri from Sherri Kelly Photography located here in Tampa as well, go check out her post for this month!
The last time I took photos of Mr. Bryce, he was just a tiny little 10 day old newborn. It’s just amazing how much these babies grow in such a short amount of time! His parents brought him back for a 1 year cake smash session and it was such a pleasure seeing him and his parents again.
2013 was simply an amazing year for my photography thanks to all my amazing clients. There are hundreds of photographers to choose from in the Tampa Bay area and I am so thankful for each and every one of my clients who chose me to capture the most precious people in their lives. Trusting me to freeze a moment in time and hoping these photos will forever be cherished. It was such a tremendous year in growth for my photography and I am looking forward to all the amazing experiences I get to look forward to!
I cannot begin to explain how special this family is to me. We moved into a small little neighborhood at the beginning of this year and I pinch myself every time I drive home just to make sure it isn’t a dream! The B family was the first family we met and they could possibly be the sweetest family I have ever met. When they asked me to photograph their family, I could not be more thrilled. They are the epitome of a family.
Their little 5 year old is such a little cutie so I asked if she could pose for me for a project I was working on. She did so well in front of the camera. Doesn’t she have the most gorgeous eyes ever?
And my one of my favorite photos of all time
This year is slowly slipping away and has it been a year to remember. For this month’s Life by Lens post, we chose the theme “thankfulness”. If you have been following my blog, you know I am participating in a month blog circle with some of the most talented photographers where we document our everyday lives. My life is so blessed with so many things I am thankful for and this post will not even touch the tip of the iceberg but it’s a start.
For my little boy growing up (too fast)…
For candy filled Halloween with the cutest Storm Trooper and cowboy you have ever seen…
For camping with amazing lifelong friends…
For remembering school days…
For traveling and making memories…
For the most amazing man I get to call my husband…

Miss Abby’s newborn session was one of my favorite newborn sessions from 2012. She is also the first newborn I was able to capture a smile from! She came back for a 9 month session and of course brought her adorable smile along with some cute expressions. Oh and those yummy baby rolls? Yes, just so you know, I did want to take a big bite out of them.
